Galaxy Fold is way better than Galaxy A12, getting a 97.6 score against 80.3. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Fold has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy A12 has Android 10 version. Although Galaxy Fold is older and heavier than the Galaxy A12, it's construction is still noticeably thinner.
Samsung Galaxy Fold has a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy A12, because it has a higher pixel quantity per inch of display, a quite larger screen and a lot higher resolution of 1536 x 2152px. Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy A12, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has more RAM memory.
Galaxy Fold's camera is just as good as the Galaxy A12 one, because although the Galaxy Fold has a much worse resolution back camera, it also counts with a much larger camera aperture to take better images and video in low-light environments and a lot higher (4K) video definition. The Galaxy Fold has a lot bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy A12, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy A12 counts with a bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because it has a 14% bigger battery size.
