Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A12's 80.3 score. Even though Galaxy Note8 is older than Samsung Galaxy A12, it's design is just a bit lighter and just a bit thinner. These devices have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note8 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy A12 has Android 10 version.

Galaxy Note8 has a more vivid display than Galaxy A12, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1440 x 2960 and a way higher display pixel density. Galaxy A12 has a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A12 also has an external memory slot that admits up to 1 TB.

The Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit better processor than Galaxy A12, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy Note8 also has 2 GB more RAM.
