Comparison review
Galaxy S8 is a little bit better than Galaxy A12, getting an 81.7 score against 80.3. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy S8 is notably older than Galaxy A12, it's design is noticeably lighter and thinner. The Galaxy S8 features a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy A12, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher 1440 x 2960 resolution and way more pixels per display inch.
Samsung Galaxy A12 features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy A12 also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1 TB. The Samsung Galaxy A12 and the Galaxy S8 have extremely similar CPUs, both have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM.
Samsung Galaxy A12 shoots slightly better videos and photos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for low light images and video, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A12 also counts with a way higher 48 MP resolution camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A12 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has a 67 percent bigger battery size.
