Comparison review
Galaxy S8 Active is slightly better than Galaxy A12, having a general score of 81.9 against 80.3. Galaxy S8 Active is a way older, just a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker cellphone than the Galaxy A12. Galaxy S8 Active's processing unit is very similar to Galaxy A12's CPU, they have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores.
Galaxy S8 Active has an incredibly better looking display than Galaxy A12, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher 1440 x 2960 resolution and a way better display density. Galaxy A12 counts with a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Galaxy A12 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
Galaxy A12 has superior battery performance than Galaxy S8 Active, because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 4000mAh. Samsung Galaxy A12 takes just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for shooting photos or video in low light environments, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A12 also counts with a much more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
