Comparison review
Xperia 5 III has a score of 90.5, which is much better than the Galaxy A12's global score of 80.3. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia 5 III has the newer 11 version and Galaxy A12 has Android 10 version. Xperia 5 III's body is somewhat lighter and a bit thinner than the Galaxy A12, although both were released with only a couple months difference.
Sony Xperia 5 III features a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy A12, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1080 x 2520 and much more pixels per inch in the display. The Xperia 5 III features a bit superior CPU than Galaxy A12, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia 5 III also has a larger amount of RAM.
Xperia 5 III counts with a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A12, because although it has a camera with a way worse resolution, it also counts with a larger camera aperture to capture better low-light images and videos and a much better video definition. The Xperia 5 III features a very superior memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A12, and although they both have a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB, the Xperia 5 III also has 192 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy A12 features a little better battery performance than Xperia 5 III, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4500mAh.
