Comparison review
The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a general score of 88.3, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy A12's 80.3 overall score. Even being the best in our current comparison, we must highlight that it's also a a little bit heavier and thicker phone. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS, but Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a newer 11 version while Galaxy A12 has Android 10 version, so it gives a couple nice extra features and better performance.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 features a bit better CPU than Galaxy A12, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also has 4 GB more RAM memory. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 features a way better looking screen than Galaxy A12, because it has a quite bigger display, a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a better count of pixels per inch in the display.
The Galaxy A12 counts with a much greater storage to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1 TB. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 counts with a superior camera than Galaxy A12, and although they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also has a way better 3840x2160 video resolution and a larger aperture to capture better low light photos and videos.
Samsung Galaxy A12 features just a bit longer battery performance than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because it has an 11 percent larger battery size.
