The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is just a bit better than the Galaxy A12, with a general score of 81.1 against 80.3. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro takes better videos and photos than Galaxy A12, because it has a lot higher video resolution, a bigger aperture for better captures and video in low-light environments and a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution.
