Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T is a bit better than the Galaxy A12, getting a global score of 83 against 80.3. Both phones we compare here come with the same Android 10 OS. Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T and Galaxy A12 were released only a couple of months apart, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T design is a bit lighter but also just a bit thicker than Galaxy A12.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T counts with a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A12, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T also has a greater display pixel density and a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A12. Both have a 4 GB RAM memory and 8 processing cores.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T has a much better camera than Galaxy A12, and although they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T also has a way higher (4K) video definition and a bigger camera aperture for better low-light photography and video. Samsung Galaxy A12 counts with a quite bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy A12 also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1 TB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T's battery life is just as good as Samsung Galaxy A12's battery lifetime.
