Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 5 has a general score of 81, which is a bit better than Galaxy A15 5G's 77.4 score. The Sony Xperia 5 is an noticeably older device than Galaxy A15 5G, but it is somewhat lighter and a little bit thinner anyway. Galaxy A15 5G has a slightly better display than Xperia 5, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a just a little less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a little bigger screen.
Galaxy A15 5G counts with just a bit bigger memory to install applications and games than Xperia 5, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A15 5G also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1000 GB. Sony Xperia 5 counts with a much better performing processing unit than Galaxy A15 5G, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia 5 also has more RAM memory.
The Galaxy A15 5G captures a little bit better photos and videos than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Galaxy A15 5G also counts with a much higher 50 MP resolution back-facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A15 5G features a very superior battery lifetime than Xperia 5, because it has a 59% bigger battery size.
Although Sony Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy A15 5G. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia 5, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, giving up some features and specifications.
