The Huawei P20 is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, having a 78.1 score against 76.2. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P20 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy A16 5G has Android 14 version, counting with a lot of extra features. Although Huawei P20 is a better device, it is more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei P20, else you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, letting go a couple specs and features.
