The iPhone 8 has a global score of 85, which is better than Samsung Galaxy A20's 74.7 overall score. IPhone 8's construction is just a little bit thinner and lighter than Samsung Galaxy A20, although it was released a bit more further than a year before. IPhone 8 counts with a superior performance than Samsung Galaxy A20, because although it has lesser cores (but faster) and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bit processor.
IPhone 8 counts with a better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A20, because although it has a much smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per screen inch. Apple iPhone 8 captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy A20, because although it has a back facing camera with a lower resolution, it also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting better quality videos and photographs, a lot higher (4K) video quality and a bigger aperture to capture better images and videos in poorly lited situations.
Apple iPhone 8 counts with a much bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A20, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Galaxy A20 counts with a very superior battery duration than iPhone 8, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
Although iPhone 8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy A20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy A20. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the iPhone 8, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy A20, resigning some features and specs.
