Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 5 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A20, having an 81 score against 74.7. Although the Sony Xperia 5 and the Samsung Galaxy A20 were released with only 6 months difference, the Sony Xperia 5 construction is just a little thicker but also just a little lighter. The Sony Xperia 5 features a brighter display than Galaxy A20, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much better 1080 x 2520 resolution and a lot higher display pixel density.
The Xperia 5 has much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A20, and although they both have an external SD slot that allows up to 512 GB, the Xperia 5 also has 96 GB more internal storage. The Sony Xperia 5 features just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A20, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Sony Xperia 5 also has more RAM memory.
Xperia 5 shoots a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A20, because although it has a worse 12 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a larger camera aperture for better photography and video in low light environments and a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
The Galaxy A20 has longer battery life than Xperia 5, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy A20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy A20. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy A20, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
