Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ3 is a little bit better than Galaxy A20, with a 79.6 score against 74.7. Despite being the best in this comparison review, it must be told that it's also a somewhat heavier and way thicker device. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but Sony Xperia XZ3 has 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy A20 has Android 11 version, providing you a lot of extra features.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 has a much sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A20, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much greater display pixel density and a much better 1440 x 2880px resolution. Xperia XZ3 counts with more memory to install applications and games than Galaxy A20, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 512 GB, the Xperia XZ3 also has 64 GB internal storage.
Sony Xperia XZ3 has just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A20, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia XZ3 also has more RAM. The Galaxy A20 has improved battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ3, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3330mAh.
Sony Xperia XZ3 counts with a better camera than Galaxy A20, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing pictures or video in low-light situations, it also counts with a much larger sensor capturing lot better quality photos, a lot better (4K) video quality and a lot better resolution back camera.
Although Sony Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy A20, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy A20. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Sony Xperia XZ3, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy A20, giving up some specifications.
