Xiaomi Mi 5s has a global score of 76.4, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy A20's 74.7 overall score. Xiaomi Mi 5s's construction is lighter than Samsung Galaxy A20, but it's just a little bit thicker and was released many years before. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Mi 5s has 6.0 Marshmallow version and Samsung Galaxy A20 has Android 11 version, providing some extra features.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s features a little better processing power than Galaxy A20, because although it has 4 lesser CPU cores , it also counts with a larger amount of RAM. Xiaomi Mi 5s has a much sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A20, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better pixels density and a better resolution of 1080 x 1920.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s takes clearer videos and photos than Galaxy A20, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light photos and a back-facing camera with a lower resolution, it also counts with a much larger camera sensor providing a much higher image quality and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Xiaomi Mi 5s features a bit more memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A20, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy A20 has longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi 5s is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy A20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy A20. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi 5s, else you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy A20, giving up some specifications.
