Sony Xperia XZ2 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A22, with a score of 79.1 against 76.1. Even being the best phone in our current comparison, the Sony Xperia XZ2 construction is much older, way thicker and just a bit heavier than the Samsung Galaxy A22. Xperia XZ2 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A22. Both of them have 4 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor.

The Xperia XZ2 counts with a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy A22, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher pixel amount per inch of screen and a lot better 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy A22 has more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ2, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy A22 also has an external memory slot that admits up to 1 TB.

Sony Xperia XZ2 features a better camera than Galaxy A22, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures and a back facing camera with way less mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a much higher video definition. The Xperia XZ2 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy A22.
