Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A30, getting an 84.2 score against 79.6. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro construction is a lot newer, but much heavier and somewhat thicker than Samsung Galaxy A30. The Galaxy A30 features a way better processing power than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy A30, because although it has a little less pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a quite bigger screen and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy A30, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy A30, because it has a 38% larger battery size. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro takes way better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A30, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting pictures or video in low light situations, it also counts with a way higher 7680x4320 video resolution, a lot higher 50 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a way bigger sensor.
