Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A31, getting a overall score of 84.2 against 81.3. Both phones in this comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has newer 14 version while Samsung Galaxy A31 has Android 10, counting with a lot of extra features. Even though Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is notably newer than the Samsung Galaxy A31, it's somewhat heavier and a little bit thicker.
