Comparison review
The Galaxy A31 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, with a score of 81.3 against 76.4. These phones have Android operating system, but Galaxy A31 has the older 10 version and Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Galaxy A31 body is much newer, but way heavier and a bit thicker than the Xiaomi Mi 5s.
The Galaxy A31 features just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Galaxy A31 also has a larger number of cores (although they are slower). Xiaomi Mi 5s has a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, it also counts with a bit higher screen density.
The Samsung Galaxy A31 counts with a superior camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, a F2 aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also has a camera with a lot higher resolution and a bigger camera sensor capturing better quality videos and photographs.
The Galaxy A31 features a bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Galaxy A31 features a much longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.
