Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 5 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A35 5G, getting a score of 84.7 against 79.4. Despite being the best cellphone we are comparing, we must highlight that it is also a notably older, somewhat heavier and noticeably thicker cellphone. Asus ROG Phone 5 features a much better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A35 5G, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 features a bit sharper screen than Galaxy A35 5G, because it has way more display brightness, a quite bigger screen, a slightly better 1080 x 2448px resolution and a little bit better pixels count per screen inch. The Asus ROG Phone 5 features as much storage for games and applications as the Galaxy A35 5G one, both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage.
Asus ROG Phone 5 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy A35 5G, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a larger camera sensor which provides a better photo and video quality, a camera in the back with a way higher 64 MP resolution and a way higher video definition.
Asus ROG Phone 5 features greater battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A35 5G, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 5000mAh.
