Galaxy A40 has a score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone AR's 77.4 general score. The Galaxy A40 is a newer device, and it is also thinner and somewhat lighter than Asus ZenFone AR. The Asus ZenFone AR has a little sharper screen than Galaxy A40, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560px resolution and a just a bit higher pixel density.
The Asus ZenFone AR features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy A40, because although it has lesser processing cores (although faster), it also counts with 2 GB more RAM memory. Asus ZenFone AR counts with much more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Asus ZenFone AR features just a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy A40, because it has a 6 percent greater battery size. The Asus ZenFone AR takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for taking images and videos in low-light situations, it also counts with a lot higher resolution camera in the back, a lot higher 3840x2160 video quality and a larger back camera sensor which offers a better photo and video quality.
