Comparison review
Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a general score of 87.1, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy A40's general score of 79.6. Huawei Mate 30 Pro's body is thicker and heavier than the Samsung Galaxy A40. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 30 Pro has the previous 10 version and Samsung Galaxy A40 has Android 11.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro counts with a bit better processing unit than Galaxy A40, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Huawei Mate 30 Pro and Samsung Galaxy A40 have extremely similar screens, because although the Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a just a bit worse pixel quantity per inch of screen, it also counts with a little bit larger screen and a quite better resolution of 1176 x 2400px.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a very superior camera than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a lot larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a bigger camera aperture, a back camera with lot more MP and a way better video resolution. Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A40, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro features a very superior battery performance than Galaxy A40, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
