Samsung Galaxy A40 is a little bit better than LG V20, getting a overall score of 79.6 against 77. Even though Samsung Galaxy A40 is a little bit thicker than the LG V20, it's lighter and notably newer. The LG V20's processing unit is just as good as the CPU in Galaxy A40, and although the LG V20 has 4 less cpu cores , they both have 4 GB of RAM.
The LG V20 has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy A40, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a bit greater screen pixel density. The LG V20 has a superior storage for games and applications than Galaxy A40, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the LG V20 also has an external SD slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
The LG V20 features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same resolution back facing camera and the same sensor size, the LG V20 also counts with a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
