Galaxy C9 Pro has a global score of 81, which is a bit better than Galaxy A40's 79.6 global score. The Galaxy C9 Pro is an extremely older and noticeably heavier phone than the Galaxy A40, but Samsung managed to build it thinner anyway. Both phones in this comparison include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy C9 Pro has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while Galaxy A40 has Android 11, so it gives you a lot of extra features and optimized performance.
Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro has a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A40, and although they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy A40 counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy C9 Pro, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher display pixels density and a quite better 1080 x 2340 resolution.
