Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M30s has an overall score of 83.3, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A40's score of 79.6. Even though Samsung Galaxy M30s is a better phone than the Samsung Galaxy A40, we must highlight that it's also a thicker and extremely heavier phone. Both phones in this comparison work with the same Android 11 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't see any difference in that aspect.
Galaxy A40 has a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy M30s, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340px, the Galaxy A40 also counts with a little bit greater count of pixels per inch of display. Samsung Galaxy M30s features just a bit better processing power than Galaxy A40. They have a 4 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores.
Galaxy M30s and Galaxy A40 both feature really similar storage capacity to install games and applications, both have equal internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that supports up to 512 GB. The Galaxy M30s counts with a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy A40, because it has a 94 percent more battery capacity.
The Galaxy M30s captures much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for capturing images and/or video in low-light situations, it also counts with a camera in the back with a way higher resolution, a way bigger back camera sensor providing a much better image quality and a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
