The Galaxy Note9 has a general score of 87.1, which is a little bit better than Galaxy A40's 79.6 general score. Despite being the best phone we are comparing, Galaxy Note9 is a thicker and heavier phone than Galaxy A40. Galaxy Note9 features just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note9 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Galaxy Note9 features a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a little higher display density, a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution and a quite larger display. Galaxy Note9 has just a bit better camera than Galaxy A40, because although it has a much less MP resolution back camera, it also counts with a bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a larger diafragm aperture and a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a much greater storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy A40, and although they both have an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has more internal storage. Galaxy Note9 features longer battery performance than Galaxy A40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
