Comparison review
Galaxy A40 is a little bit better than the Galaxy S6 edge+, having a score of 79.6 against 79.3. Even though the Galaxy A40 is somewhat thicker than the Galaxy S6 edge+, it's just a bit lighter and also extremely newer. These phones include Android operating system, but the Galaxy A40 has the newer 11 version and Galaxy S6 edge+ has Android 5.1.
Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a better display than Galaxy A40, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a little bit higher pixel amount in each screen inch. The Galaxy A40 counts with a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Galaxy A40 also has more cpu cores (but slower).
Galaxy S6 edge+ features just a bit better camera than Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for taking pictures and video in low light situations, and they both have a 16 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a larger sensor shooting higher quality photographs and videos.
The Galaxy A40 features a much greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A40 also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 512 GB. The Galaxy A40 has just a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 3100mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
