Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is better than the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), getting a score of 84.2 against 75.8. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's body is notably newer, but much heavier and thicker than the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017). The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has a just a bit lower amount of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a really bigger screen.
