Comparison review
Huawei Mate 10 is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A5, getting a 78.9 score against 72.4. Even though Huawei Mate 10 is a lot newer than the Samsung Galaxy A5, it is somewhat thicker and way heavier. Both phones we are comparing have Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate 10 has the older 10 version and Samsung Galaxy A5 has Android 4.4.4.
Huawei Mate 10 has just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A5, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor and a 32-bit CPU against 64-bits, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores and 2 GB more RAM. Huawei Mate 10 features a much better looking display than Galaxy A5, because it has a bigger screen, much more pixels per display inch and a lot better 1440 x 2560 resolution.
Huawei Mate 10 takes much better videos and photos than Galaxy A5, because although it has a worse 12 MP resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a much higher (4K) video quality. Huawei Mate 10 features a way bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy A5, because it has a SD extension slot that allows up to 256 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity.
Huawei Mate 10 has a way better battery performance than Galaxy A5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2300mAh.
The Huawei Mate 10 costs exactly the same than Samsung Galaxy A5, which makes this phone an easy choice.
