The LG G7 Fit has an overall score of 77, which is slightly better than Galaxy A5's 72.4 overall score. Both phones in this review use Android OS, but LG G7 Fit has newer 8.1 Oreo version and Galaxy A5 has Android 4.4.4, providing some additional features. Even though LG G7 Fit is a lot newer than Galaxy A5, it's extremely heavier and somewhat thicker.
The Samsung Galaxy A5 features just a bit better hardware performance than LG G7 Fit, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have 4 cores, the Samsung Galaxy A5 also counts with a 64-bit processing unit and a graphics processor. The LG G7 Fit has a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy A5, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 3120, a much higher pixels number per inch of display and a bigger display.
LG G7 Fit features a superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A5, because it has 16 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB. LG G7 Fit counts with better battery duration than Galaxy A5, because it has a 30% bigger battery capacity.
LG G7 Fit shoots much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A5, because it has a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a camera with a higher 16 megapixels resolution.
