The LG Q8 is slightly better than Galaxy A5, with a score of 77.2 against 72.4. LG Q8's construction is noticeably newer than the Galaxy A5's, although it is somewhat heavier and thicker. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but LG Q8 has a more recent 7.0 Nougat version and Galaxy A5 has Android 4.4.4 version, providing the user lots of additional features and performance tweaks.

LG Q8 features a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A5, because it has a lot higher 1440 x 2560 resolution, a quite bigger display and a lot higher pixel amount per inch in the screen.
