Comparison review

LG V30S ThinQ has an overall score of 82.5, which is better than the Galaxy A5's general score of 72.4. Even though LG V30S ThinQ is extremely newer than the Galaxy A5, it is a lot heavier and somewhat thicker. Both phones in this review come with Android OS, but LG V30S ThinQ has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Galaxy A5 has Android 4.4.4, providing the user some nice extra features.

The LG V30S ThinQ counts with a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A5, because it has a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2880, a lot higher screen pixels density and a bigger display. LG V30S ThinQ features much more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A5, because it has an external memory card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage.

LG V30S ThinQ counts with a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy A5, because although it has a 32-bits processing unit against 64-bits and doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher number of cores and more RAM. The LG V30S ThinQ counts with a superior battery duration than Galaxy A5, because it has a 43 percent more battery size.

The LG V30S ThinQ shoots a lot better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A5, because it has a lot higher (4K) video resolution and a back camera with a higher resolution.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy A5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy A5. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy A5, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your budget.
