The LG Velvet has a general score of 87.1, which is a lot better than the Galaxy A5's general score of 72.4. The LG Velvet is a much newer cellphone than Galaxy A5, but it is noticeably heavier and somewhat thicker. Galaxy A5 features a little bit better display than LG Velvet, although it has a way lower 1280 x 720px resolution, a much lower number of pixels per inch of screen and a lot smaller screen.

LG Velvet has a much better memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A5, because it has 112 GB more internal storage and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
