Both devices in this review have Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra has the previous 12 version while Samsung Galaxy A5 has Android 4.4.4. The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is a notably newer cellphone than Samsung Galaxy A5, although it is much heavier and notably thicker.
