Comparison review
The Galaxy Note 3 has a global score of 80.7, which is better than the Galaxy A5's score of 72.4. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 3 has newer 5.0 version and Galaxy A5 has Android 4.4.4, counting with a couple nice extra features and improved performance. Although it's the best cellphone in this comparison, we must highlight that it's also older, notably thicker and a lot heavier.
Galaxy Note 3 features a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A5, because it has a lot better resolution of 1920 x 1080px, a higher pixels density and a quite bigger screen. Galaxy Note 3 features much more storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A5, and although they both have a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Note 3 also has 64 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy Note 3 features a bit superior CPU than Galaxy A5, because although it has a 32 bits processor against 64-bits, it also counts with a much better graphics co-processor working at 600 megahertz, more CPU cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 takes greater photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A5, and although they both have a 13 mega pixels camera in the back, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also has a much better 3840x2160 video resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a very superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy A5, because it has a 3200mAh battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 costs a little more money than Samsung Galaxy A5, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
