Samsung Galaxy Note3 has a global score of 77.7, which is a little bit better than Galaxy A5's score of 72.4. Despite being the best in this comparison, Samsung Galaxy Note3's design is older, incredibly heavier and notably thicker than the Galaxy A5. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Note3 has the older 4.4.2 version while Galaxy A5 has Android 4.4.4 version.

The Galaxy A5 counts with a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note3, although it has a way worse 1280 x 720 resolution, a just a bit worse amount of pixels per inch of display and a quite smaller display. Galaxy Note3 has a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than Galaxy A5, and although they both have an external SD slot that admits up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Note3 also has 48 GB more internal memory capacity.
