Even though the Xperia 5 II is extremely newer than Samsung Galaxy A5, it is thicker and incredibly heavier. The Xperia 5 II counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy A5, because although it has a 32-bits CPU against 64-bits and doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with 6 GB more RAM and more CPU cores.

The Xperia 5 II features a little more vivid screen than Galaxy A5, because it has a much better 1080 x 2520 pixels resolution, a larger screen and a much higher screen pixel density. The Xperia 5 II features a much bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy A5, because it has a SD memory slot that holds up to 1000 GB and 128 GB internal storage.
