The Xperia XA2 Plus has an overall score of 78.6, which is a bit better than Galaxy A5's 72.4 overall score. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia XA2 Plus has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Galaxy A5 has Android 4.4.4, providing the user a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks. Xperia XA2 Plus is a noticeably newer cellphone than the Galaxy A5, although it's much heavier and extremely thicker.

The Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy A5, because although it has a 32-bit CPU against 64-bits and doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores.
