Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer is a lot better than the Samsung Galaxy A5, having a 91.5 score against 72.4. Even though Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer is extremely newer than the Samsung Galaxy A5, it is a lot heavier and incredibly thicker. Both phones in this review use Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has the older 12 version while Samsung Galaxy A5 has Android 4.4.4 version.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer features a bit better looking display than Galaxy A5, because it has a higher pixel density, a really larger display and a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer counts with a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy A5, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor and a 32-bits processor instead of 64-bits, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a larger amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy A5, because it has a camera in the back with a way higher resolution and a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer features a superior memory for apps and games than Galaxy A5, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a really longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A5, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity against 2300mAh.
