The Asus ROG Phone 5 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A50, getting a score of 84.7 against 83.8. The Asus ROG Phone 5 design is newer, but much thicker and extremely heavier than the Samsung Galaxy A50. Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a just a little worse screen density, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2448 resolution and a little bit larger screen.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A50, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a larger amount of RAM. Galaxy A50 has a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 5, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A50 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 512 GB.
Asus ROG Phone 5 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy A50, because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a way better resolution camera in the back, a lot better video quality and a lot bigger camera sensor which provides a lot higher image and video quality. Asus ROG Phone 5 features a way better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A50, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
