Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is a bit better than Galaxy A50, getting an 84.2 score against 83.8. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is a way newer cellphone than the Galaxy A50, but it is somewhat thicker and a lot heavier. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a little less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bigger screen.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A50, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 384 GB more internal memory capacity. Galaxy A50 has an extremely better processor than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has 12 GB less RAM memory, they both have 8 cores.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro captures way better pictures and videos than Galaxy A50, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for taking photos and/or video in low light environments, it also counts with a lot bigger sensor taking lot higher quality videos and pictures, a camera in the back with lot more MP and a much higher 7680x4320 video definition.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy A50, because it has a 5500mAh battery size.
