Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A50 is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone AR, getting a general score of 83.8 against 77.4. Samsung Galaxy A50's body is newer, a little lighter and thinner than Asus ZenFone AR. The Galaxy A50 has a bit better performance than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has 2 GB less RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores.
Asus ZenFone AR counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy A50, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and more pixels per inch in the display. Asus ZenFone AR features a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A50, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Asus ZenFone AR also has a SD extension slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.
Galaxy A50 features improved battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. The Asus ZenFone AR takes slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a back-facing camera with a worse 23 MP resolution and a smaller aperture which is not favorable for shooting pictures and videos in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a lot higher (4K) video resolution and a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality.
