Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy A50 has a global score of 83.8, which is slightly better than Google Pixel 2's 81.6 general score. Samsung Galaxy A50's construction is newer and just a bit thinner, but somewhat heavier than the Google Pixel 2. Google Pixel 2's processor is very similar to the processing unit in Samsung Galaxy A50, both of them have 8 cpu cores and a 4 GB RAM memory.

Google Pixel 2 features a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a way smaller display and a quite lower 1080 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit better display density. The Galaxy A50 counts with a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A50 also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.

Galaxy A50 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Google Pixel 2, because it has a 48 percent larger battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy A50 captures a little bit better photos and videos than Google Pixel 2, because although it has a tinier sensor, and they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also counts with a much better resolution camera and a bigger camera aperture.

Although Galaxy A50 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Pixel 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel 2. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy A50, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Google Pixel 2, resigning a couple features and specifications.
