Comparison review
The Galaxy A50 is slightly better than the Xperia 5, with an 83.8 score against 81. Even though Galaxy A50 and the Xperia 5 were released with only a couple of months difference, Galaxy A50's construction is a little heavier but also just a bit thinner than the Xperia 5. Sony Xperia 5 features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A50, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Sony Xperia 5 also has 2 GB more RAM.
The Sony Xperia 5 features a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher pixel density and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels. The Xperia 5 and Galaxy A50 count with really similar storage for applications, games, photos and videos, they have a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB and equal 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy A50 counts with superior battery performance than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy A50 has a slightly better camera than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller camera sensor offering a lower image quality and a tinier aperture which is not nice for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also counts with a camera with lot more MP.
