Comparison review
The Galaxy A51 5G has a general score of 90.8, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy M31's 86.5 global score. Both of these phones include the same Android 11 OS, so they should give you all the same operating system features. Although Galaxy A51 5G and Samsung Galaxy M31 were released only a few months apart, Galaxy A51 5G is a bit thinner and just a little lighter.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A51 5G. Both have 6 GB of RAM and 8 CPU cores. Galaxy M31 has a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A51 5G, although it has a bit less pixels per inch of display, a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a little bit smaller screen.
The Galaxy A51 5G has a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy M31, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that allows up to 1000 GB. The Samsung Galaxy M31 takes clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy A51 5G, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has a larger back camera sensor which offers a higher image and video quality, a larger aperture and a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution.
Samsung Galaxy M31 has better battery lifetime than Galaxy A51 5G, because it has a 33% greater battery capacity.
