Comparison review
Galaxy A51 is a little bit better than Google Pixel 2, having a score of 85.5 against 81.6. The Galaxy A51 is a somewhat heavier device than Google Pixel 2, but both have the same thickness. The Google Pixel 2 and Galaxy A51 feature incredibly similar processing units, they have a 4 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores.
The Google Pixel 2 features a little more vivid display than Galaxy A51, because although it has a little bit lower 1080 x 1920 resolution and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a quite greater pixels density. The Samsung Galaxy A51 has a way bigger storage for applications and games than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A51 also has a SD card slot that allows up to 512 GB.
The Galaxy A51 features a much longer battery life than Google Pixel 2, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity. Galaxy A51 has a superior camera than Google Pixel 2, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for capturing photos in low light environments, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy A51 also counts with a way higher 48 mega pixels resolution back camera and a way bigger back camera sensor which gives a lot better photo and video quality.
Although Samsung Galaxy A51 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Pixel 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 2. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Google Pixel 2, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
