Galaxy A51 has a global score of 85.5, which is a bit better than the Galaxy A12's global score of 80.3. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Galaxy A51 has newer 11 version while Galaxy A12 has Android 10 version, so it offers lots of additional features. Even though the Galaxy A51 is older than the Galaxy A12, it's construction is thinner and somewhat lighter.
Samsung Galaxy A51 counts with a more vivid screen than Galaxy A12, and although they both have a same size screen, the Samsung Galaxy A51 also has a way better resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a greater display pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy A51 counts with a slightly better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A12, because although it has an external memory slot that supports 512 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
Galaxy A12 counts with a processor that is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy A51 one, they have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores. Galaxy A51 shoots much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A12, and although they both have the same resolution camera in the back and the same camera aperture, the Galaxy A51 also has a lot better 3840x2160 video definition.
