Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M31 has a global score of 86.5, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A51's score of 85.5. Both of these phones work with the same Android 11 operating system. Despite being the best cellphone in this review, we must note that it is also a somewhat thicker and just a little heavier cellphone.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 features a bit better processing power than Galaxy A51, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has a greater amount of RAM. Galaxy M31 counts with a little more vivid screen than Galaxy A51, although it has a quite lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, a quite smaller screen and a just a little worse pixels density.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy A51, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has a larger back camera sensor, a bigger aperture for better low light captures and a lot higher resolution back-facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy A51 features a very superior storage for games and applications than Galaxy M31, and although they both have an external SD slot that allows up to 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy A51 also has 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy M31 counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy A51, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
