Galaxy J7 Max is a little bit better than Galaxy A55 5G, getting a global score of 76.1 against 75.1. Both phones in this review use Android OS, but the Galaxy J7 Max has newer 7.0 Nougat version and Galaxy A55 5G has Android 14, counting with a lot of extra features and increased performance. Galaxy J7 Max counts with a very superior processing unit than Galaxy A55 5G, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Max counts with a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A55 5G, although it has a little bit lower screen density, a quite smaller display and a little worse resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G has a much better memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy J7 Max, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1 TB.

The Galaxy A55 5G has a much better battery performance than Galaxy J7 Max, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh. Samsung Galaxy J7 Max captures a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy A55 5G, although it has a back-facing camera with a much lower 13 megapixels resolution.
