The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has an overall score of 84.2, which is much better than the Galaxy A7 (2017)'s 75.8 global score. Even though the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is newer than the Galaxy A7 (2017), it's somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) features a really superior hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), because it has a little higher 1080 x 2400px resolution, a bigger display and a bit more pixels per inch in the screen. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a very superior battery duration than Galaxy A7 (2017), because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro captures way better pictures and videos than Galaxy A7 (2017), and although they both have a F1.9 aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also has a much higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a lot better 50 mega pixels resolution back camera.
