The Asus ROG Phone 3 has a score of 86.3, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018)'s overall score of 84.2. Asus ROG Phone 3 is a newer cellphone than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018), but it is way heavier and much thicker. The Asus ROG Phone 3 has a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ROG Phone 3 also has more RAM memory.

The Asus ROG Phone 3 shoots way better photos and videos than Galaxy A7 (2018), because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more MP, a much better 7680x4320 video quality and a much larger sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
